Building software for design professionals

The Why

Most software options for design professionals are usually priced and developed with larger-sized firms in mind. Most don't seem to cater or traget small and medium sized firms. We wanted tools that we could use and would help but we couldn't justify the enterprise level apps; those app are costly in both money and time and they have so many features which we'd never use. Our response was to build tailored apps specifically for our use. Then we decided that other firms could benefit and now here we are. We have more ideas but not all of them will become reality, becuase we believe in quality not quantity.

The What

• With our Continuing education and license renewal tracker We wanted a better and more automated way of managing CEU certificates, report logs, and license renewals and could output complete, submission ready CEU report logs.
• We've seen directly how big enterprises benefit from business intelligence platforms. They are able to load the massive amount of data they collect and then use that data to build insights and inform decision making. Enterprises have teams which work on data platforms, while small to medium sized firms often don't have access to teams of people or the platforms.
• Our fundraising app is a response to a specific request and we're rolling it out. Our app is built for schools, booster clubs, and PTA organizations which don't need all of the service features of the big fundraising apps. We felt that school fundraising should allow more of the funds to flow into the schools and organizations, so we only collect a flat service charge to cover our app costs.
